2016 Mass Meeting and County Convention

Republican Party to Hold Mass Meetings and County Convention

On Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., the Madison County Republican Party will convene Precinct Mass Meetings to elect Delegates and Alternates to the Madison County Republican Party Convention at the Madison County Senior Center, 1265 GA-98, Danielsville, GA 30633. Registration will open at 6:30 p.m. No one will be allowed to register after 7:00 p.m. unless they are in line by or before 7:00 p.m.
All Madison County residents who are legally registered to vote on or before February 1, 2016, and who believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in the process.
The Madison County Republican Party Convention will convene at 8:00 p.m. on March 17, 2016, at the same location for the purpose of electing Delegates and Alternates to the 9th Congressional District Convention, for the purpose of electing Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary. Delegates and Alternates will be not required to pay a fee to the County Convention.
The 9th Congressional District Convention will convene at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 768 Franklin Street, Dillard, GA, 30537.The District Convention will convene for the purpose of electing 3 Delegates and 3 Alternates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the Convention.
The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016, in Augusta, Georgia, for the purpose of electing At-Large Delegates and Alternates to the National Republican Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, for the purpose of electing the Georgia Republican Party National Committee Man and National Committee Woman and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary. Delegates and Alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the Convention.
