You may be one of hundreds of thousands of Georgians that received a mailing from the GAGOP giving you a form to request an absentee ballot from the Madison County Board of Elections. This is legitimate! It’s a form for requesting the ballot. Here are some important points to remember about absentee ballot requests and absentee ballots:
The request form should arrive at the board of elections no later than Friday, November 30 at 5:00 PM as this is the last day BOEs can send absentee ballots.
The completed ballot (not request form) should be mailed and received by the BOE no later than Tuesday, December 4 at 7:00 PM. If you cannot mail it in time, you should deliver the ballot by hand.
If you wish to vote absentee and don’t receive an absentee ballot request from the GAGOP, here’s the information from the Madison County Board of Elections:”GENERAL ELECTION RUNOFF -DECEMBER 4, 2018
