COME GET A CITIZEN’S VIEW OF WHAT WENT ON AT THE GOLD DOME THIS PAST SESSION.
The Madison County Republican Party will meet on Thursday, April 18th at the Madison County Senior Center in Danielsville. (Please note that this is a new location.) The doors open at 6:30 pm for a meet and greet and the meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.
Pat Daugherty, president of the Georgia Eagle Forum, will be our guest speaker. Pat retired after working in UGA College Student Affairs for 36 years, but instead of slowing down, Pat is busier than ever. In addition to serving as the president of Georgia Eagle Forum, you might find her at the Georgia Capitol speaking to legislators about issues that affect families or in Washington DC as the Georgia liaison on the Activist Advisory Council with FreedomWorks.
Pat was very busy at the Georgia Gold Dome this last session, and will speak to us about what went on there from a citizen’s point of view. You probably heard the news from the commentators, but now come and hear about what Pat saw and heard while she was there. Come hear about the protesters, the characters in their costumes, and her experiences of interacting with legislators.
