We had a very informative meeting with Mike Griffin in August. The main focus of the discussion was the Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Our next meeting is September 17th, 2015. We’ll meet at the Madison County Senior Center on Highway 98 in Danielsville at 6:30 for a meet and greet. The
meeting begins at 7:00. Our guest is Commissioner Lauren “Bubba” McDonald of the Georgia Public Service Commission.
We will have a booth at the Madison County Fair in Comer on Saturday, September 26. The hours are 12:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00. All elected
officials and candidates for elected office are invited to join us and let Madison County voters get to know you.
The October meeting is scheduled for October 15th at the Madison County Senior Center. Doors open at 6:30 for a meet and greet and the meeting
begins at 7:00. Our guest that evening is Andrew Clyde of Clyde Armory in Athens. He will speak to us about the IRS and the seizure of nearly a
million dollars of his business assets.
The Madison County Fall Festival is Saturday, October 24 in the park on Highway 29 in Danielsville. We’ll have the Madison County GOP tent there
from 9:00 until 4:00. Again, all elected officials and candidates for office are encouraged to join us in the park.
