Confirmed Candidates for Meet and Greet
This is a reminder of our Meet and Greet on on Thursday, May 19 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Madison County Senior Center on Highway 98 in Danielsville. The public is welcome to attend. All Republican candidates appearing on the General Primary Election ballot (including non partisan candidates) in Madison County are invited to meet the citizens at this informal event. Light refreshments will be served, catered by Ila Restaurant.
The following candidates are planning to attend: United States Representative District 9 candidates Paul Broun, Roger Fitzpatrick, Bernie Fontaine, and Mike Scupin; Madison County Coroner Julie Phillips; Madison County Sheriff candidates David Larkins, Michael Moore, and Kip Thomas; Madison County Commission Chairman candidates Larry Cox, Tony Mattox, Trey McCay, John Scarborough, and Stanley Thomas; District 1 Commissioner candidates Lee Allen, Lisa Mathis, and Wayne Douglas; District 2 Commissioner candidates Michael Baker and Larry Stewart; District Attorney candidates Richard Campbell and Parks White; Judge of Superior Court candidates Jim Carmichael and Chris Phelps. Dr. Mary Kay Bacallao, candidate for United States Senate has also confirmed her plans to attend.
