Election Meet and Greet
Madison County Republicans are having a Meet and Greet! The public is invited to join us on Thursday, May 19 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Madison County Senior Center on Highway 98 in Danielsville. All Republican candidates appearing on the General Primary Election ballot in Madison County are invited to meet the citizens at this informal event. Light refreshments will be served, catered by Ila Restaurant.
The following candidates are planning to attend: Parks White, District Attorney and his challenger, Richard Campbell; United States Representative District 9 candidates Bernie Fontaine, Roger Fitzpatrick, and Paul Broun; Madison County Coroner Julie Phillips; Madison County Sheriff candidates David Larkins and Michael Moore; candidates for Madison County Commission Chairman Larry Cox, Tony Mattox and John Scarborough, District 1 Commissioner candidates Lee Allen and Wayne Douglas; candidates Michael Baker and Larry Stewart for District 2 Commissioner; Dr. Mary Kay Bacallao, candidate for United States Senate. This is the confirmed list at the time of posting on April 25. Other candidates may be coming.
